avannah Animal Hospital was founded October 18, 1988 by Dr. Robert Pedigo and Dr. Andrea Richter. The original facility was actually the home of a River Boat Pilot. Initial renovations converted the building into apartment and the animal hospital. The apartment was modified for office space in 1992. Major renovations in 1993 and in 2000 brought the hospital to its current status, including the separate Savannah Animal Hotel. The Hotel is a complete indoor boarding facility with a pet boutique. The boutique offers supplies as well as gift items for cat and dog fanciers.

Changes externally brought growth internally with enhanced services and advancement of technology. There are approximately 43 staff members throughout the facilities serving people through their pets. We are committed to providing the most advanced veterinary diagnostics and treatment in an environment of care and compassion. We place a premium on individual care for each patient.
