Dr. Melissa Schwarmann

Dr. Melissa Schwarmann grew up in Southeastern, Pennsylvania. She attended the University of Delaware and received a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science with a concentration in pre-veterinary medicine. Dr. Schwarmann is a 2012 graduate of Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and spent her clinical year at Oregon State School of Veterinary Medicine. In January 2016 Dr. Schwarmann became a partner in Savannah Animal Hospital. She has special interest in soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, ultrasonagraphy and internal medicine.

Dr. Schwarmann resides in Rehoboth Beach with her twin daughters, their Yorkie, Tosh, and their cat, Twyla. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, kayaking, snorkeling, reading, and creating lasting memories with family and friends.
